- As the sun begins to cast its warm glow over Dublin, the anticipation for the vibrant summer concerts at St. Anne’s Park reaches it’s peak. Nestled in the lush greenery of this ancient park lies a stage where music comes to life.
Originally, the park was owned by John Vernon of Clontarf Castle, before it eventually came into the hands of the Guinness family. Yes, that very family that started the most famous drink in the world.
For concert goers seeking the ultimate experience, there’s no better accommodation than Clontarf Castle, offering a seamless blend of luxury and convenience just a stone’s throw away from the St. Anne’s Park. With an everlasting connection to the Castle, you’re in for a treat.
St. Anne’s Park concert history is not all that deep. 2019 saw the first concert in recent times, before a halt was placed on shows in 2020, finally returning in 2022.
The richness of the old enriches the new at St. Anne’s Park:
From June this picturesque park plays host to a lineup of sensational concerts featuring an electric mix of genres and artists. Whether you’re a fan of rock, pop, or soul, there’s something for everyone to enjoy amidst the natural beauty of St. Anne’s Park.
St. Anne’s Park will also come alive with the vibrant energy of the Rewind Festival. This nostalgic event invites music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in timeless tunes and groove to the sounds of legendary artists like Nik Kershaw, Squeeze and Go West.
Just like Clontarf Castle, where the richness of the old enriches the new, the Rewind Festival brings together the classic sounds of the past to enrich our present-day experiences. Whether you’re a long-time aficionado of retro music or simply looking to experience the magic of Rewind Festival, this event is sure to ignite your passion for music and leave you wanting more.
Hot off the back of their new studio album “Parked Car Conversations” Picture This will play to a packed St. Annes Park on June 1st. Following on from this, another Irish sensation in Cian Ducrot will play his own headline show after supporting Ed Sheeran, Ella Henderson and Tom Grennan.
After the success of the original “Pints in a Field” The 2 Johnnies have moved from Cork’s musgrave park to St. Annes Park Dublin. One of the biggest announcement of Dublin concerts & events was that of Tom Jones, Nile Rodgers & Chic coming to play a show stopping set of their classic albums in this outdoor concert.
Paws and Petals:
The magic of St. Anne’s Park extends beyond concerts. Throughout the year, the park comes alive with a variety of festivals and events that celebrate nature, community, and culture.
From the playful antics of the ‘Bark in the Park’ Dog Run to the floral beauty of the Rose Festival, there’s always something new and exciting to discover at St. Anne’s Park. And let’s not forget the weekly Farmers Market, a bustling hub of activity where visitors can sample fresh produce, artisanal goods, and delectable treats every Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

If you’re coming to St Annes park for a concert, Clontarf Castle is an ideal place to stay. It’s only a 25 minute walk to the concert entrance. The Dart station of Killester splits the Hotel and Park in the middle also. Dublin Bus service routes from the castle to the park also.
The venue itself will have a number of food trucks to eat at, alternatively you can dine on an all day menu at the Knight’s bar. After sampling a couple of our delicious drinks, make your way down to St. Anne’s and head to the ticket collection if you haven’t pre printed these.
You can’t bring things like garden furniture, selfie sticks, backpacks or professional video cameras. However, if you wanted you could bring a picnic blanket for the start of the concert. However, towards the end of the support acts, it begins to get too crowded for a picnic blanket.
